Terms of use
TeamRide is a free service for organising carpooling to an event. By using it, you accept the rules below.
This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt, the French version prevails.
The service
TeamRide puts drivers and passengers going to the same event in touch. It is published by Scandola SA, En Budron A9, CH-1052 Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. TeamRide does not organise the rides and is not a party to the arrangements between drivers and passengers.
What is allowed
- Creating real events and sharing their link with the people concerned.
- Offering seats in your car or joining a ride, free of charge or sharing the costs between you.
- Contacting the members of your ride to get organised.
What is forbidden
- Advertising, spam, links and HTML code in texts (they are rejected).
- Fictitious or misleading events, or events created to lure people to another website.
- Abusive, discriminatory or illegal content.
- Carrying people on a commercial basis.
- Reusing other members' phone numbers and addresses outside the ride.
Limits
- 10 upcoming events at most per account. A past event no longer counts.
- An event's Maps link must come from Google Maps or Apple Maps.
- The number of login link requests is limited to prevent abuse.
Reporting and suspension
Every event page has a "Report this event" link. In case of inappropriate use, we may delete an event, its rides and its bookings, and suspend the account concerned, without notice.
Liability
Each driver remains responsible for their vehicle, their insurance and their driving. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. We cannot be held liable for a cancelled ride, a delay or a dispute between users.
Personal data
You can delete your profile at any time from TeamRide.
